CitiLog Full Circle Upcycling Gold Certification is awarded when trees are upcycled into finished wood products. The circle starts when trees have fallen, are being removed due to disease, or to make room for construction or are being reclaimed from demolished buildings. The trees are taken to our mill, upcycled into finished wood products such as flooring, architectural millwork or furniture. With Gold certification the circle takes trees from one site, turns them into finished products, and brings the finished product to a new site. At Citilog were are constantly offered wood from locations throughout the northeast. We carefully select wood that meets our standards and we bring it to our mill for future use. The tree is given a new life, no virgin timber was cut down to create the product, and the carbon is sequestered inside the finished product.
