Woods Hole Research Center is the largest non-profit oceanographic institution in the world. They may be most famous for the discovery of the Titanic's resting site, but they they have an extraordinary reputation for the depth of their research, engineering and educational activities. An offshoot of the institute is the Woods Hole Research Center which was founded in 1985 to address global environmental problems. When it came time to build a new facility for the Research Center - CitiLog was retained to provide a wide variety of finished wood products.
The Research Center's facility is located in Falmouth, Massachusets and is referred to as the Gilman Ordway Campus. The building was recognized as one of 2004's Top 10 Green Projects by the American Institute of Architects (link).
CitiLog provided Ash flooring for the new facility
This is a beautiful building and the importance of the finished wood that CitiLog provided is a key element in that beauty.
We provided Oak treads for the stairs
We provided Cedar for the pergola and the decking.
This project shows how we can provide finished wood products for both interior and exterior spaces on a project. Our versatility is unmatched.
