Yale’s construction management
firm hired Citilog to recycle trees that needed to be taken
down for the construction of their new Sculpture Building.
Those trees were then manufactured by Citilog into benches
that were placed around the Sculpture Building and they
received LEED points for doing so.

White pine trees were taken from
Felician College’s campus and turned into a roof structure
for an existing historic building.

Swarthmore College.
Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. 2003-2004
Citilog made shingles from red
wood trees that were taken down on Swarthmore College’s
Campus. Those shingles where then fitted for their new
Healthcare Cottage, at the same location the red wood trees
came down.

Citilog is working with Kent Place
School to make beam covers on their ceilings, benches,
flooring, and historic restoration of a log cabin out of
their own wood with Citilog’s Full Circle Recycling.

The Willow School.
New
Jersey. 2002-2004
The LEED project was Full- Circle
Recycling with White Pine and Maple trees taken from the
school’s site. The trees were then milled into cubbies,
lockers, teachers’ and students’ pine chairs and tables,
along with benches for around the school. The Willow School
became the first Gold LEED School in New Jersey.

Queen’s Botanical Garden.
Queens, New York. 2005-2007
This registration building at
Queen’s Botanical Garden was the first Platinum LEED
building owned by the City of New York. Citilog provided
White Oak benches and recycling bins for the outdoor of the
facility, salvaged Eastern Hemlock for decorative fencing
and custom designed gates, and black locust for a bris
soleil (sunscreen for the front and side façade of the
building), bridges and boardwalk.
