Avalon Park & Preserve


Avalon Park and Preserve was created by the Paul Simons Foundation with the goal of reflecting Paul's love of nature and the outdoors. The Foundation seeks not only to protect this unique and natural habitat but also to restore and maintain its ecological heritage. CitiLog was honored to participate in the construction of the maintenance barn for the Park.


We constructed the Timber Frame with repurposed Eastern Hemlock


We supplied the Eastern Hemlock flooring


This is a working maintenance barn. Both the beauty and the utility of the Hemlock is evident here. Note how the backpack in the foreground hangs on one of the post and beam pegs.


We provided the Eastern Hemlock siding.
